September Blog Hop with Close to My Heart

Welcome to our September Blog Hop featuring our Favorite New Things. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Julie at 12 x 12 Travels . If you came from Brandy's Canadian Scrappers then you are in the right place!

I made this fun little card by heat embossing the image first and then colouring in with the markers. The paper is from the Seaside collection.

When I saw the sneakers I knew I would be filling in all the little shapes with colours and the markers are perfect for that.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Terry Ann's Just a TAD Crafty . If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle S Blog, My Creations with Michelle , as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring Trick or Treats, for Halloween. So mark October 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.

Anything Goes Blog Hop

My first time in eons (yes eons) to participate in a blog hop!!  If you came from Alice's blog you're on track and I'm the last of the participants.  Since I'm a new (again) consultant I mostly have the Skylark paper to work with so I created these 4 cards.

I love the stamp sets that match this paper pack.  I chopped up one sheet of the paper using some of my favourite parts for the fronts of the cards and the back of the sheet for stamping my sentiments on. I distressed the edges and stamped with Desert Sand ink, did a bit of pop dotting added some twine and shimmer tape - easy peasy four cards completed.

You can go to the beginning of the hop following this link.   Natalie's Blog

Well that didn't go very well did it???  I've been crafting and creating like mad and just never got to posting anything.  Here's hoping I'm back and can keep at it this time.  Here's a few pictures of the items I've been working on:

A New Blog :)

Well here it goes - starting fresh with new ideas, dreams and challenging myself to work on some wonderful projects.  This year I hope to use up lots of my stash working on altered projects, seeing if I can make Project Life a reality and just enjoy the whole creative process again.

For project life I've collected a few supplies, worked on my cover page and spent way too much time on Pinterest gathering ideas ;)  I plan to keep it organized and easy to work on.  Taking pictures will be the easy part, remembering to print them off might be a bit more of a stuggle.

I'm also working on altering some clocks.  A few base coats are painted, some stamping and a bit of embossing.

Stay tuned, I hope to post pictures soon of the projects...

Hugs, Sandra
